....menurut seorang otai serama ,petua bagi menggalakan induk betino bertelur dan mengeramkan telur-telurnya ialah induk betina tersebut hendaklah diletakkan di dalam sangkar yang tidak terlalu besar dan tidak terlalu kecil...cukuplah ianya bersaiz sekitar 4x 3 kaki sahaja....digalakkan juga diletakkan pasir di dalam bekas bersaiz 1 x 1 kaki bagi mengurangkan stress ayam yang diletakkan di dalam reban menggunakan lantai kayu/kawat besi.
